I just acquired a v3 vortech for fox... im a noob and would like help identifying the purpose of these two bolts. Looks like the red one is a inspection port ? Yellow is just an extra mounting spot for different applications? Does the red one need a sealing washer? Also what are the two brass plugs on the top of the charger?

Yellow- Extra hole

Red- Brass plug w/ copper seal washer

The unit has 3 brass fittings on top. Facing pulley, left is the dipstick, center is brass vent fitting. Right is brass plug.

The unit ships with the dipstick and two brass plugs. When the unit is mounted the center brass plug is removed and replaced with a vent fitting. It's designed to be mounted in several different clock positions in different applications. That's why there is an extra hole.

Should look like this installed:

Thanks for the help, I'll have to confirm my center plug has the pinhole for the vent. Looks my "red" bolt should be a plug with a sealing washer.

Check out the install guide if you haven’t. It’s really good.
