Idle and automatic

tried the search option but no luck

Here s my situation.

It began last year when i changed my Tb and plenum for an accufab tb and plenum. It began to idle weird but mostly when i shifted in drive or reverse it will drop rpm big time and almost stall.

I did install a SC this year and still the same problem but over that, the car will hesitate when rooling from a stop at normal throttle like if there was to much air or gas. At 2000 rpm, everything is fine. Tune is fien BTW

I suspect a vacuum leak but any inputs would be appreciate

Believe it or not, I recnetly installed a BBK Plenum & throttle body combo on my 01 automatic GT and I'm having a similar problem. I have recieved the SES light, but I have no way of pulling the codes until I get a scanner. I too am going to guess it's an intake leak/vadcum leak, but I won't know for certain until I pull the codes.

There is one thing you can do. Find yourself some starter fluid and spray it over your intake parts while the motor is started and idleing. If the rpms suddenly jump when you spray it on a certain section, then odds are that is where your intake leak is.
