hey everyone new guy here. i'm having trouble with my coupe idling it has an anderson n412 cam, 70mm tb. 42# injectors & matching mass air meter, gt 40 tubular intake. anyway it wont idle unless i have an open vacum line. oh yeah and i dont know if it matters or not but i dont have any o2 sensors in it. any help would be great thanks!

no i dont have a chip or a tuner. i put 42's in it because i plan on supercharging it and i didnt want to buy injectors again and its a 331 stroker. this is my first fuel injected build so any help is in need. thanks!

Do not disable the O2 sensors and expect the engine to run perfectly without a custom Dyno tune. It just isn't going to happen. Understand that if the Ford engineers could have done it and passed all the requirements, they would have eliminated the O2 sensors from the beginning. Saving $20-$40 a car is big bucks when you make a million cars.

See the "Surging Idle Checklist for help with all your idle/stall problems.

The quick and easy way to dump the codes is in there too, and all you need to do it is a paper clip! The first two posts contain all the fixes & updates. At last count there were 24 possible causes and fixes for surging idle/stall problems. I continue to update it as more people post fixes or ask questions.
