Need help with idle problem
Well I seem to be having a idle problem with my 70mm throttle body installed. When I start the car it will jump up to 2000 rpms and stay there for a few minutes and then settle down to 1400 rpms. Then when you just tap the gas it jumps back up to 2000 again and does the same thing all over again. While driving it runs like a Auto in the fact that you can't kill it. It will not go below 2000 rpms. I've checked the throttle body and its not stuck on anything and its installed correctly. I even replaced the TPS and this didn't help. So tonight I reinstalled the stock throttle body and everything went back to normal. The idle is back to 1000 - 1100 rpms and doesn't stick or hang when you tap the gas. I installed the 70mm throttle body and the plenum at the same time. If anyone has any ideas I would really appericate the help.
