idle problem

you had to remount the tps sensor on the aftermarket tb and it may not have the exact position /angle . The tps sensor is very touchy . The holes on the aftermarket TB for the tps sensor are probably in a slightly different position. I went through the same thing. Now everything is a ok.

The reason everything is ok after you took it off is the holes on the stock tb have not moved. If you still have the aftermarket tb you can make the holes on the tps sensor oblong by drilling them out a bit then tilt the tps each way till you get the correct position.

yep i drilled out the tps holes with a 1/4 bit and it allows me to get a lower voltage but like i said i had it at .985 same as stock and it still idled high with the aftermaket. i cant explain it just that the tps is fine if the both have same volts and 1 acts different why is that?

update

ok just wanted to let you know you guys know that it actally was the tb its self what happend is the circle plate in the middle wasnt adjusted right it was a lil off which cause it to stay open, i adjusted the plate and it works perfect now so if anyone else has this problem thats somthin you can check other than the tps.
