Hey guys, I'm posting this in the v8 forum since u guys tend to respond a bit faster. My 99 mustang is having some problems. When I start it and back down my driveway sometimes the rpm will stick at a higher idle when the clutch is in, until it warms up. Also, when I slow down and come to a stop at a light, with the clutch pedal pushed in, the rpm will drop extremely low and the motor will shake a bit....it has almost died on me before.
The car is a v6 manual transmission. It has under drive pulleys, upgraded coil and plug wires, cold air intake and 70 mm throttle body, and a diablosport predator tune along with true dual exhaust....among other things. I remember reading a post with similar problems a long time ago and recall it possibly having something to do with the combination of the tune and intake system. Any ideas?
