I did a search and came up empty handed. This is my only idle issue and it isnt a surge. Just did a H/C/I swap from bone stock. Idle did surge when it was stock, the up and down stall thing, i ajusted the idle and that took care of that. This is different. Car runs great, Idles at 800 with no issues with comp 270XE. it doesent surge a bit, you go down the road and push the clutch in and idle drops from crusing speed to 1200 or so, and sits there. will not drop. When you finally stop the car, it drops after about 3-5 seconds, back to 800. I( asked a buddy that did a intake and blower swap a while back and he said his car did the exact same thing, never dropping till you are sitting still. He blames it on the C&L mass air meters we run. The voltage has been checked on the tps, the AIC has been sprayed out with intake cleaner. Did the whole idle setting thing by the book.

Any recomendations or is this normal for a modded car with larger TB and MAF?

Thanks guys.

Its suppose to do that. The vss switch in the tranny tells the computer the car is moving and keeps the idle higher untill you come to a full stop. If the vss didnt control idle while comming to a stop, your motor would stall out.
