If I replace my steering wheel with a non airbag will I get a light on?

i want to possibly swap out my 93 gt wheel for a custom wheel...but i would be a non airbag wheel most likely...first off how hard is it to yank out the stock wheel? and second will i get a light on the dash or anything if the stock one is disconnected?

I didnt get a light, its not hard, but you do have to hardwire the horn
