Illinois
Just moved to Illinois from Tampa, and have been staying in a small apt. while we find a house, can't stand apt. living, not used to all the noise but we deal with it, untill yesterday when the 1st floor tenant was gone his kids (16)&(15) decided to skip school, blast the music, and beat up on his girlfriend, so Im at work, when the wife calls me,and I got a $#!t load of cars to do and can't run home to squash the situation, so I call the landlord, and after work I talk to the "father" and we end up in a shouting match between me him his buddies and his punk kid, who threatened to punch me out, I could snap his neck while yawning, his dads 's no prob either, but I can't afford to loose my new job while I visit the county jail, so I call the cops and they gave them only a warning,(I would have been locked up,I just know it) so everything quiets down untill the unlicensed, uninsured, little inbred leaves in his car, and as Im on the phone looking out the window the little basT@*d backs up 50 feet right into my right rear 1/4 panel, and breaks the center cap on the rim,and I think bent the rim (I measured from rotor to rim at different points and it's uneven) He scuffed the paint leaving his white paint on my car and chipped it and basically f^$ked up my car. I ran after him on foot yelling and screaming, and giving him the opportunity to get out of the car and fullfill his earlier threat and he took off. I callad the cops, made a report, and they say they are looking for him,and so am I. I got a 100.00 mark on this punk, and he hasn't shown up back here. What else pisses me off is the cops say they can't or won't put a warrant out for him, though they are calling it a hit and run, why can't they charge him with criminal damage to property? And they seemed more concerned about my paper work, i:e license, registration, insurance then going after this punk. Im furious, thanks for letting me rant, Oh and I e-mailed the chief of police, and the states attorny's, and Children and Families are next.I think these are his parents.... Nuff said.http://forums.stangnet.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=42956&stc=1&d=1140925651

Wow ... that really sucks. Have you spoken with his parents after the last incident? I'd be all over their a$$ about it. Just have your wife watch for him to pull back up & have her immediately call the cops.

That's a kid in some real need of parenting. Sounds like they're complete idiots too, though.

Yeah I agree with this being a kid on his way to the Penn or worse and there is no talking to his parents as they are calling what he did "just an accident" and they are hiding him out somewhere as my wife saw them leaving with some clothes today and we are keeping our eyes open to the point I only got 3 hours of sleep last night. Good news is Im looking at a house tomorrow. I hope it's suits us.

The only advice I am going to give is that remember your family is at home when you are not.....so be careful in how you choose to handle this......good luck with getting his insurance/family to fix your ride...

"Use proper punctuation and grammar!!!"

I didn't have any trouble reading it. As to the situation. There are 1000 useless, worthless punks out there that you could most likely bea there A$$es into a bloody spot on the ground. How many do you really want to waste your time dealing with. Let them ruin their lives without bringing you down with them.

Your advice is well taken, and my wife being alone is the only reason I didn't go off like I would have in my younger years. My wife is psycho over this and Ive had to calm HER down, I feel a bit at ease with our 100 lb. Akita, Kujo, with her while Im at work, he can't stand the neighbor kid either because he actually teased my dog the first day I walked him. I think the kid's got mental problems, or got kicked in the head by a mule or something.
