If you didn't know, what would you do?

I bought my stang with what it has in it.

So far i found that i have a cai *very obvious* and 3.73 gears. I cant find anything else on my car that would signify a mod other than some crome fuel rails. If my car was cammed or had the heads replaced, is there a way to find out. like if i looked at my timing if i hooked an elm scanner to it or something? Are there markings on stock heads that i might not be aware or?

find the previous owner and ask him... just say "dude i already bought the car, im not mad, i'd just like to know whats in it"

Post some pics and we can tell you. As for ported heads or cams, very doubtful.

Meet up with someone local who is familiar with Mustangs and ask them to take a look over the car

if it has a set of cams in it you will know right away sounds like basic bolt ons and thoes chrome fuel rails sound like they are stock goo indicater is if they have threaded fittings on the back they are stock

+1 cams you would def know if they were aftermarket
