If your under 20, forget getting a 2005 Mustang, even a V6 unless your rich.....

Why would you call the guy a troll? All he said was insurance was gonna be expensive on this car. If he's guilty of anything it's not shopping around before he posted. Personally , I found great humor in a 11k a year insurance quote.

I think a lot of us found humor in it. As well as a warning to shop geico carefully.

Uh, there are massive rate differences depending on where you live so keep that in mind before you're calling bs on people. And many times insurance companies will give you a rediculously inflated quote as a way of saying no, without actually saying no.

boalgf: Comsidering some of his former posts with such names as, "Wow... Saw a 2005 Mustang Burn to the ground today.....", "2007, the Mustang will have Competition, Camaro is Alive AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!", and "05 mustang in a ditch." I think it is safe to say GM Dude is a spy sent to scare Mustang buyers away. Pay him no heed.

DavidCroft: Good call. The guy sounds like a doosh bag. I pay 92.50 a month on my 97 Cobra ,which is a 12 second car, and Im 21. $5800/6 months? Come on. Nobody believes it. Also camaro is dead because GM sucks and cant sell cars.

If I was a troll, I wouldn't have been here this long, The Camaro is coming back, you may or may not believe that, but it's not going to be a F-body, it'll be based on the new Zeta Platform, which will share with Buick, etc.

The '05 Mustang in a Ditch wasn't even my thread

The burning 05 GT was a complete joke just to see what people would say, let me guess Boalgf, you never have a little fun?

Let me take a screenshot for all you pollock's:

Doesn't look like I'm a troll now, now does it? This is how racism starts, just because my name is GM Dude on a mustang site, doesn't mean I'm here to start trouble.

This is how racism starts? You disparage another nationality by calling the people posting here "Pollocks" (using the incorrect assumption that Polish people are stupid) and then you accuse OTHERS of racism? :bs:

Do shop around for other coverage. Geico has to pay for those fancy ads with the gecko somehow so why not through their clients' premiums??? Geico is a horrible company. I just ran a quote for a 2004 GT coupe ('05 not an option yet, but insurance shouldn't change) online through my insurance company (USAA Casualty Insurance Company, division of USAA) and my rates increased by $8 per month. My six-months policy was $1,008 and that's with a small accident on my record. When the accident falls off my record next year, my coverage will drop back to $768 every 6 months (and that's for two cars on my policy). That's with 100/300 coverage, $500 deductible, roadside assistance and towing, etc...

I want to know, why nobody asked the kid WHERE HE LIVES!!

For Example:

I am 23, live in New Jersey. I have two vehicles, Dodge pickup, 2000 GT. Full coverage on the GT, liability on the Dodge, and the truck is my primary vehicle. I pay $1800/6 months. That is HIGH compared to many states. NJ is a no fault state, so all of you jacka$$e$ driving around with NO INSURANCE are the reason why NJ rates are so damn high. That and because most people that get "hit" by another driver, go out and find a money hungry lawyer and sue the piss out of the person that hit them. End result: High Insurance rates. When I was 17, I had 20 insurance points (roughly 6 tickets) when I had my old Pontiac GTP. Speeding, Improper Turns, Careless driving, operating on a suspended license etc. Finally now I just cleared my entire record. I have 0 points, haven't had a ticket in 4 years. I wanted to buy an '03 Cobra, True blue...my quote was $2400/6 months with my truck. Thats why I stuck with a GT.

I move to Florida next year, and hopefully insurance rates are ALOT lower. I hate New Jersey and hate their damn insurance rates. I was quoted at $8,200/year full coverage for an '04 Cobra from 3 different insurance companies. Its ashame it has to be like that.

That's basically what I was thinking.
