IFO File

I got a couple of videos i downloaded to my computer from a friends cd's. There in IFO Files and wont open in Windows Movie Maker. How would i make it open on Windows Movie maker?

i believe an ifo file is a DVD file...which in that case you would need a DVD ripper program and they normally cost some money to get like 30 bucks or so

If it is a DVD file you can use a program that simulates the file as a "DVD". Meaning it will show up as if you put a DVD in.

The name of the program is Daemon tools. You "mount" the programs and it plays them like they are on a disc.

I played ISO files, so I cannot guarantee they will work.

Daemon Tools is free. Just google it.
