Ignition Coil Questions

Hey guys,

I'm seeing a lot of pics with the ignition coil not in the stock bracket/location...Where are you guys finding a spot for it? I just got my stang and the tard who had it before just has it laying in the bay, not attached to anything. Also, could I upgrade just the coil with a Crane Fireball PS91 without burning up the stock ignition setup? Thanks!!

yes you can upgrade the coil with the stock ignition. I have run MSD coils with the stock ignition before.

As far as other places to mount them I can't give you an alternative since mine is in the stock location.

i have the jacobs ignition sysytem but the coil went bad on it. will replacing it with a stock cheap one have any effect on performance?
