Can I just splice a connector for the ignition coil to the correct wires that have the butt connectors on them that u can see in the pic

I see this post is old I got a new one today and it has a red and green on one side and 2 green yellow on the other now do I hook up both greens

Did you read through the thread? It shows the wiring diagram, hard to comment without knowing what you're working with.

it plugs into the ignition coil and I did plugs today what gap does ford sat to use

also I just put a distributor in and I can't get the car to start now I got this new plug that goes on the ignition coil and I can't get it to work I set all my stuff back the same and nothing
