Can I just splice a connector for the ignition coil to the correct wires that have the butt connectors on them that u can see in the pic

I see this post is old I got a new one today and it has a red and green on one side and 2 green yellow on the other now do I hook up both greens

also I just put a distributor in and I can't get the car to start now I got this new plug that goes on the ignition coil and I can't get it to work I set all my stuff back the same and nothing
