Hi,
I have a 73. Mustang and when I shut off the ignition and remove the key, the car continues to run. Any ideas of what might be causing this problem?
Thanks Rbohm, for you're response. The car does not do this all of the time, only when very cold. I turn the key to start car and the ignition feels a little hard to turn and that is when the car sticks on, but i can return ignition and remove the key, still a little difficult to turn. Is there any rods or pins in the steering column that might need to be greased or lubricated??? Because that is what it feels like when I turn the ignition key. This happened last year in very cold weather , I disconnected battery and did not use car till warmer weather and ignition turned normally.
