also me rear is starting to do 1 legged burnouts...i know i gotta replce the clutches or whatever in the rear....should i switch from 3.73's to 4.11's and i wanna add a good differential auburn?? or eaton??..i would like to keep the 3.73's but if i neeeeed the 4.11's ill do it any help would be good

car has got stock block..but tfs h/i/e cam.and all the little goodies msd ignition, 9mm wires, double roller timing chain tfs 1.6 roller rockers ford racing king cobra clutch, made 291 hp @ 5000 rpm and 305 torque at 4250 rpm untned running lean at 5grand
any help would be appreciated

HP wise you are pushing the stock injectors, IMHO.

gears: not much difference in what you have vs what you propose. i would go more with being sure to finish the run in the top of a gear (rather than swapping gears and needing to shift). very little % difference in those two though.

trac lok is the rear end traction control (if you search about it).

good luck.

Check out the difference in the 60's times and my 1/4 times with slicks and no slicks. Get that trak-lok fixed and slap some sticky mickeys on that girl and I'd say you'd be darn close to 12's, but it might take a while. I know your car is a vert, but 291 rwhp should be easy 12's. I know I don't make even close to 291 rwhp (3300 lbs.) and I got there. What mph are you trapping? That would be a good indicator if you'll get there. If your trapping any less than 105, it will be close.
