By screwed I mean this. I'm bidding on some wheels and winter tires for my Grand Am GT. Very nice entering bid. Personnaly, when I put something on Ebay, I either do an auction with the reserve option (reserve not met til my amount is reached) or either I simply start the auction with my minimal amount from which I wanna start. Pretty simple and fair.

Now IMO I'm getting screwed but I know a lot of people do this. Bidding on your personnal auction with another account. Then you only have a few dollars to pay for the final value of the auction and you keep your stuff. I'm sure some of you have done this and I think it's bs. I mean follow the damn rules.

The thing about this auction is that the seller doenst offer shipping so pick-up only. The guy is near Toronto so all the americans are pretty much out of the map for this one. And today I got some email stating that I've been outbid and I go look and the other bidder has 0 feedback and his from Ontario...How odd. I'm sure this is the same guy.

Anyway, just ranting here. I really wanted that deal but I'm not gonna make that bastard's day by playing his little game.

Sorry to hear about your problem Mario , I have been a Ebay member for 5 and a half years and never had a problem what so ever , personly I ( bought and sold ) around 20K USD in that time and under another user name I have sold minumum of $300.000 USD. _$hit does happen , we have to be careful.I have 140 feedbacks and all of them are positive. In my case I really like Ebay even if I don't do that much business anymore I still surf the site once in a while.

You should think about reporting him to the eBay people!
