Im kinda confuse on oils weight.

I been using 10w/30 oils and factory recoment 5w/30, but I heard 99+ using 5w/20, car is 142k miles now. recomment me oil brand and weight please.

I like 5w/20 for winter and 10w/30 for summer. It gets to 100 degrees
about everyday in the summer here and drops to the 20's in winter.

where i live its never drop to 30 and never high then 85, can I stick with 10w/30 year round ?

Yeah then the 10w/30 is perfect. since you got high miles and no extreame
weather. You live in Florida Im guessing?

run 5-20 or 5-30. That thick of oil isn't good for our modular engines. I wouldn't use anything higher than 5-30.

I run 5-30mobile year round, ford recommends 530 for my 98 so that is what i use.
