One little thing..

My bottle has been in the car for a week of hot temperature. When I turned the valve on, the pressure was a like 1200+psi which is not good. Now I'm wondering..Is this because they overfilled the bottle or is it because of how hot it was in the trunk ?

Anyway, I took the bottle out and I'll leave it in the house to see if it changes when I put it back in. If not, I'll have to empty it till I reach the manufacturer's specs. ( I got a safety pressure valve and I dont want it to blow because the bottle is overfilled). And you got to spray between 900-1150psi. The bottle filled is suppose to weight 24.5pds. I weight it here (not sure if my scale is good) and it weights 25-26pds.

It just starting rainning so if it's dry later on, I'll test it tonight. Sucks. I really wanted to run it now !

It can be because they overfilled it but I always put my bottle at 25LBS and never had a problem .

I had mine at 1400PSI once( by accident ) the blow off valve is higher then that.

My solenoid doesn't want to open over 1200 PSI , I don't know if it's a safety or a weak solenoid( you should never spray at 1200+ PSI ) . It quit ( the solenoid ) on me last month , it was acting weird and slow since last year so I replaced it by the next size up.

Now when I floor it it just goes without any hesitation :nice:

You should spray at 950 PSI . A good bottle heater should keep the bottle pressure right there.

Very clean Martin :nice:

I weight my bottle on a 500$ digital scale and it was right on at 24.45lbs. So this was not the problem. When I put the bottle back in yesterday, after a full day in the house, the pressure was at 600psi. That was the problem..too much freakin heat in the trunk.

So last night, I tried the bottle heater which works fine...keeps it in the "GREEN" area constantly. I wanted to try the system so I put the 100shot jets in the nozzle, and went out. I had my plugs gapped at like 0.037 or so, my timing changed in my tuner for that specific shot, and enough gas. I didnt try it in 1st or 2nd gear (maybe I should of) but only from a roll from 3rd. My fuel pressure was at 33psi(vacuum on) which is 41psi vacuum off, on idle. I'm thinking something is wrong. I know I have enough power right now and torque, but I still think I should feel that 100shot a lot. I'm confused a little..I need to compare with somebody. Kinda race him without the juice and then race him with the juice. That would be the trick to really see. I have a good feeling I'm running pig rich, which kills my power. I felt something but not what I thought. Its all in the tune. I'll back the fuel pressure a little to see.........

..........and then put the 125shot jets in :D

How far is the track from where you live? The tune is important so take your time. Good luck with it, sounds like it will be (or is) a hell of a beast!

Track is 25minutes from my house. All curves. I want to go tomorrow morning. Man I want my N/A 12's. I have a bad feeling about my rearend though..I've been hearing all kind of noises on the passenger side. I should or rebuild the rearend when I had my 3:90's put in last year. That was stupid by me.

So if everything goes to plan, I'm going to the track tomorrow. Now I have the shiftlight so this will help. If I saw correctly, whenever I was shifting at 6000rpm ON MY TACH, I was propably like 6500rpm in real life. :notnice: :notnice: Not good when your peak is at 5600rpm... I'll confirm today just to see.

I tried the 125 shot in my car and it did not work , I need to change my tune.

I redynoed yesterday and I was at ( on the spray ) 315 RWHP and 425 Ft-Lbs torque SAE numbers on a Dynojet .

In my case Nitrous deliver the max power at 4K and max torque at 3500RPM .

If I rev the engine a lot I'm kind of wasting it , I have to learn to shift earlier !

Was probably the heat! A guy i knew over-filled my bottle once! it was a Real hot day out, was in my apartment, heard my alarm go off, looked out, all i could see was N20 flowing out my sunroof and windows! Plus a hugh frozen spot on my rear hatch glass! Not good! Hope you have a down tube!

Yes I have a downtube ;) ANd the problem was the temperature in the trunk. The bottle was not overfilled. I weight it and it was dead on.
