At least it's more erect and not floppy anymore.

fobra: that was when i bought it at 40k its a "little" dustier now but thanks!

hv99cobra: the jlt cai was easy to install. i think somewhere towards 4 hours, mostly because i had to install it then pull it out a few times to make the fit right . here's the install instructions they include:

http://www.jlttruecoldair.com/instructions/CAI Install for 1999-01 Cobra & 2003-04 MACH I.pdf

you dont need to remove the actual fender or take off the right front tire. i went ahead and took the wheel off anyways plus you will need to pull back the inside cover in the wheel well. not a big deal. now when i clean the filter i just turn the wheel on the ground and its tight but better than lifting the car up.

i havent ever dyno'd or tuned the car so what the intake actually did i couldnt say. i did notice a little more pull after about 4000 rpm, just a little but thats what i expected for a $225 bolt on. i think they claimed +15-20rwhp with a tune on 99 to 01 4vs. otherwise the the induction is entirely stock so far.

I went with the JLT ram air because I didn't want to deal with the water splashing up in the front fender when it rains. It's my DD

I noticed a small difference when I installed the intake, but noticed a bigg difference when I put the performance Diablo tune on with it

Plus when I go to the track next week I'm taken out my right headlight to get the true ram air : )
