im lost

my car is backfiring out the intake and the ignition was breaking up at 4000 rpm. i changed the ignition module and pick up coil that fixed that problem. but its still backfiring out the intake on acceleration sometimes it goes away and sometimes it doesnt. i tried a coolant temp sensor, that wasnt it. please help

Any codes?

I'd check the ignition more. Look for cracks in the cap or plug wires that are cross-firing. That kind of stuff.
