what would cause my car to run rich? really rich. i have a 94 fuel rail with the regulator on it. i have 255lph fuel pump 70mm 95 model mass air gt40 upper and lower. any ideas
Alright, have you tried checking to see what the fuel pressure is at? I'd start there and then run a self test on it. It could be that the a.c.t. is bad, the egr system, an o2 sensor, etc.
Havent checked the fuel pressure yet planning on doing it this weekend. i removed the egr system i did plug and egr in and sit it in there to see if it helped. i probably need o2 sensors. advanced autoparts tried to pull the codes but kept getting an error. does that narrow it down any
I did a four cylinder conversion and i robbed the motor spindles brakes rearend o2's and lots of other stuff off of a 94. so i dont know how long the o2's have been in there i just wanted them to help me get the car running.

You say you probably need o2 sensors, are you saying you don't have any or just need new ones?
what range should the fuel pressure be in. when i opened up the plug gap to 55 it helped alot. the car starts missing at a cruise and thats what i am really trying to solve but the only problem i can find is the car is running rich. under heavy throttle its not as much of a problem. i may try to get my hands on a pressure tester today
