Ite here, I got a problemo. The dist I got from napa is totalled and the gear is stripped pretty bad, the imput shaft is nicked up a little bit but, the oil pump is fine no binding, and it pumps oil up the dist hole in about five turns, and it makes me think the oil pump stuck and ripped teeth off the dist gear, it is kind of weird it just shut off and it had good oil press. when it shutt off, I looked down and the tach went to ziltch, so I am thinking that the imput shaft is causing this. Is there any place on the internet that shows you how to replace one of these things? Just need some advice. Has this ever happened to you guys?

Thanks,

Josh Gemmel.

Other than high dollar repalcements made for the mini-stock guys, I don't think you'll find a new intermediate shaft if Ford isn't stocking them anymore.

You could always dig one out of a boneyard relic. You never, know you could quite possibly find one in better shape than the one you have now.
