The 1966 Mustang I just bought has no reverse lights or holes in the rear valance.
I know you can buy aftermarket panels this way but did Ford have reverse lights as an option - SO if you opted out or chose a Mustang without reverse lights your car would have a smooth rear valance?
Back-up lights were an option in 66. My 66 has them. So yes you would have a smooth rear valance without them, unless of course, you had the trumpet exhaust.
Thanks for the information. I wasn't sure if it had been changed or could have come that way. Nice pic of the convert with that non back up light detail.
