I've heard TA and T/A used in heaps of different contexts, some I understand, most I don't, and even more I don't remember. What does T/A stand for? I worked out timing adjuster, when used in that context, but the main context seems to be archaic. I'm guessing it means Trans Am? I want to know in relation to the BFGoodrich Radial T/A. What does it stand for in that?

BFGoodrich Radial T/A. It could mean "touring automobile" as far as the tire reference goes.
