In need of a tranny..

Well my tranny has about 130k on it, while the motor has about 20k. My shifts are getting gritty, and not very smooth. Yes it does grind sometimes. I have done a tranny flush and put in some royal purple and it did help, but its kinda faded and still not getting better with the way i drive it sometimes.
This is my daily driver and i was wondering what should i get?
I mean money isnt a huge problem, but i would like to NOT spend over $2000.... what would you guys suggest?

If your going to do it your self get a cobra 6 speed, they can be had for around 2k

karkraft is one way. But look in E-bay. there are plenty of people who prepping GT for track race, and usually first thing seriousl racer would get rid of is weak T-45.
I found my replacement T-45 off of guy who was prepping his 00GT with 12000 miles for SCCA racing for $300.

I drove 3 hrs to get it. But that was about $60 on gas. While shipping was quoted to be aorund $120...
