as the title says, my question is, do u think its worth buying a built 3650 for 2000, or get a rebuilt 3650 for 800. I think in the rebuilt ones they have the updated fix in the 3650. What do u guys think. ( obviously puttin a good clutch in to )

Are you buying a new tranny for performance purposes or as a necessity (as in you blew yours and need a replacement)? If the latter, just get a rebuilt 3650/T45. If it's for the first reason, go for a T56. I'm sure you can find a used one for a good price.

Now is the perfect time to upgrade to a stronger unit. A T56 swap is your friend, and you won't be into it for much more than a replacement 3650 when all is said and done as long as you shop around and are willing to buy some used stuff. It's definitely worth considering.

Yes if your goin to be racing an adding HP. then spend the lil extra coin to upgrade like mention before.
But just for a daily driver should be fine with just replacing with 3650?
Now some peoples DD is little more than others:D

I've been in same boat as you man. But third syncroz bad in mine? I was lucky to pick up extra 3650? $50 bucks darn couldn't pass it up? Rebuild or tear down an inspection... is coming after the holidays here.

if i were to go with a tko 500 , what else would i need to buy, A Different Bellhousing?, i obv cant take the bell off my 3650 and bolt it up to that right.
