thats what i will do than.... My next question is than.. If anybody knows any good tranny places in the New York Area?

Call good performance or mechanic shops you know of and ask them who'd they have rebuild a trans, that's what I did. Having a GF who's dad owns a car shop and knows all the places in a 50 miles radius helps too. But rebuilding the trans is not something you want a shop who does anything other than just transmissions to perform.
