Geez, it sounds like you guys are getting the run around like we did in the begining with ours ... now we have a TSB fix ... in a few months there will probably be one for your models, too. Why does it take Ford so long to acknowledge that there is a real problem?!!

My '02 had the problem. TSB, when it finally came out, fixed the problem. As I recall, the biggest problem was the 2nd-3rd shift in the cold.

ford claimed to have a new improved transmission for the 05. meaning the 3650 tremec was to be fixed. BS. they refuse to acknowledge there is a real problem with the transmission. by the time the tsb came out for the 01-03 models, pretty much all the 01s were out of warranty and about half the 02s were out. leaving ford having to fix maybe half. my 02 was out due to miles. i took it in before it was out of warranty and got the same run around. "its normal for them to make that much noise". BS. when it was cold you could forget about 2nd gear. nothing like granny shifting your car. well, i had it. sold the car and bought an 02 Nissan Maxiam. ford is good about not owning up to issues with there vehicles and placing the blame on there suppliers. crapola
