Does anyone have infinity kappa series speakers? Do they sound nice? Can the Kappa perfect series be installed in a mustang? What is involved in this install?

A set of Infinity Kappa Perfect 6.1's in my '03 Mach 1. Had to make a baffle out of 5/8" MDF, and trim a little plastic off the inside of the door panel (behind the plastic speaker grill) before the fit was nice and neat.
After the install I had *ALL* kinds of trouble with my Alpine MRV-F540 heating up and going into protection mode. I checked the crossovers. I checked the wiring (but I knew wiring was OK cuz I had 5x7 components up there already that I replaced with the Perfects). I rechecked the wiring. I pulled the left driver - it still went to protection - aha - must be the right driver - it still went to protection.
I pulled the Perfects out after less than a week, packed 'em up, sent 'em back to Sound Domain, drove to the local Focal dealer, talked 'em out of a set of Focal 165KP's for the same price I could get 'em on the internet. It took me another couple of hours to get the Focal's mounted to my satisfaction (they're big and deep) - All I can say is "whoa...."
It wasn't a wiring problem - it was the Perfects - and I've since talked to 2 others that had the same issues - with the same amp (Alping MRV-F540).
I now have the Alpine amp bridged, running 200w RMS to the Focals and they just sinnnnnnnng.
i've had infinity reference speakers in a explorer and they worked great.....and i also have had 2 infinity kappa 10" subwoofers that have been with me for 6 years and they sound just as good now as the day i bought them
I have the new infinity kappa co-axil speakers in my hatch. They are all amped and sound great. Nice clear sound and not too harsh. If you get them an amp will be a great plus.
