well since Ive had my intake off for a while I decided to "rebuild" the injectors. New O rings, Pintle caps, and Filters.

Well I cant figure out how to remove the filter at the top of the injector. It looks like its pressed in... I really want to replace them since the screens in them are rotting.

they look like this.

any have info on where to gets these new injector filter screens ,i have tried all the local parts stores no luck,,i ripped a few of them while i was cleaning some injectors for an efi460,,noticed they were really clean for the highmileage it had, the fuel filter gets rid of all micro dirt before it gets to them, wonder how they would flow without the screens in them

Check on ebay. That is where i got my o rings, pintle caps, spacers and filter screens. I used the same method to remove the filter screens only I didn't have the fancy handle I just used a long wood screw and pulled them out. Mine came out pretty easy.
