I've had a set of Venom Performance fuel injectors and one went bad. Talked with American Muscle and they sent me a new set. My old set had the single pintle design common to the EV1 style, but the new ones they sent me are EV1's but they have the 4 pintle design just like the EV6! Win! I took a closer look and noticed that on most of the injectors, some of the pintle holes are extremely small, almost non-existent, and some are fairly large. Only 3 injectors had consistent hole sizes. I was wondering if I could enlarge some of these holes with a razor blade or if doing that would mess up the flow rate of the injector and I should let them be. On a side note, I don't recommend anyone getting injectors from Venom High Performance. As far as I'm concerned, they don't offer a very good product. I may be wrong, but I'm just spreading the word of the problems I'm having with them.

I definitely wouldn't recommend messing with the openings, if you have doubt of the injectors flow rates, there are various places that will flow test and match your injectors for a minimum fee, check your local area first. You may also want to contact AM, as I'm sure they would be glad to help you out if you aren't 100% happy with your purchase. They have always been great to me about things like that.

Venom is the one brand that never flows what they promise unless they have fixed their QC. I'd consider returning them and getting Ford ones..Get them flow tested and don't be too suprised.

Many bad reviews from Mustang and other car owners (imports included).
