inner/outer tie-rod ends

My car has 100,000 miles. The struts and shocks have been replaced (cheap Monro stuff) My front end is squeeking and driving me nuts.
It does it when I turn so I think it is the tie-rod ends.
Where is the best place to buy inner/outer tie-rods.
And should I buy a bump steer kit. I will be buying new springs and c/c plates also.
And maybe someone can explain to me if there is anything else I should do while I and working on the front end. I was thinking of replacing the A arms also with the 2003 updated A arms there $150 and come with ball joints and bushings so its cheaper then buying new ball joints and bushing then having them installed in the A arms.

Sometimes swaybar bushings dry up and squeek(happened on my dakota). IMO I would go with the later option(pre assembled arms).

I am willing to bet it is your tie rod ends. I think the bump steer kit is just as much as just moog replacements. I would get the bump steer kit if they are the same, or close. That way, if you do lower the car, you might not need them, but at least you will have the ability to adjust if you need to. I love mine. I bought the steeda kit, and it just made my steering wheel come alive. I went the long route on the a-arms. I did X2s and bushings. I won't ever do it again. I would do the updated arms. Much less of a headache, and it can be done in one day if you know what your doing. If your doing all the front end work anyway, I would get some urethane sway bar bushings, and end links. Not to expensive, and your already in there anyhow.

If you want to find out for sure if it is your tie rods, just get a tie rod puller, and pop um off both sides. You should be able to trun the wheels by hand and see if it stops sqeaking. My car only had 16k on it and the tie rods were bad. Tried to grease them, but failed. Good luck, LT

Before you go buy parts, slide under front end and give everything you can a good tug. I thought my tie rods were shot but it turned out to be my rack bushings. It was just a little squeak when you wiggled the wheel back and forth. By the way, I paid around $30 a piece for outer tie rods.
