input shaft questions.

I bought a Tremec off an 89 GT from my friend and was wondering do I have to change out the input shaft on the tremec? I've already have put it in and everything seems to fit nicely. What are your thoughts on this?

if you are using the same bellhousing he had on his car it will be fine. the input shaft is only an issue because the 94/95 t5 has a longer input shaft and also the bellhousing is a slight bit longer
