I've been having problems with the secondary bowl dumping into the engine and flooding every now and then. Finally got some time to pull the bowl off and much to my surprise (as the carb is only a few months old and bought brand new) the inside finish is blistering and peeling off.
This is obviously the cause of my flooding trouble because I pulled the needle out and two large chunks of the finish where inbetween the needle and the seat.
Called Summit and they are sending me a new bowl, no questions asked, no charge. My question is do you think I just got a faulty bowl or is there something else causing the blistering?
Is it possible the gas is getting so hot in there that it is boiling? I have no clue, just guessing... Any ideas o' wise ones? Thanks!
(I took some pics, but I'm on my motorcycle with no way of getting them to a computer... I know worthless without pics...)
