Hi guys, i am in the middle of installing my autometer mech water temp gauge, but noticed that a "t" fitting will not work because of clearance issues with an injector and also the valve cover!!...how did you guys hook yours up??...(i want to keep the stock sending unit connected so that i do not have a check engine light on)...any ideas?...thanx

Disconnecting the stock sending unit will not trip the CEL. Too much hassle trying to have both working. Don't know about the clearence problem. The port in the intake not really near the v/c. Can you be more specific.

um, you could tap out another hole on the lower intake manif where the coolant runs to use both, but again, more trouble than it's worth.

Theres another hole that you can use on the lower intake somewhere under the T.B. I know I guy that has his stock one back there. I think you can reach it without taking your upper off.
