I just added some 3.73 and it made a big diffirance, it tach out on
the freeway and sounds like a race car now. I HAVE 2 chamber flows
with 3 inch turn downs and it is loud as hell.

Congrats. 3.73 gears are an all around great gear in my opinion.

Your lucky you didn't go with 4.10's like I did on my 94'.
3.73's is the way to go in my book.........

4.10's are the way to go, especially on a pretty much stock car. Why wouldn't you???? 300 rpm's more at 80 mph is not a big deal. This is coming from a person that wanted 3.55's for the longest time.

Well for one, even on a fairly stock car, without drag radials you'll be wasting your time spinning. Some people dont like buying tires every 10K miles Flo Pro.

3.73s for manuals and 4.10s for autos have always been my rule of thumb

i think the problem of "spinning your tires" with 4:10's and freeway rpm range is what keep people from getting a steeper gear. If you are atleast somewhat intelligetn you will only spin a little more than you normall would and i would agree with rio95 that 300 doesnt make any difference. I just installed my 4:10s and did a right up over it.

I could care less about the increased RPMs. That wouldnt bother me at all.
