Installed a C4 in my 1995 GT, all is well BUT...

Mechanically, all is well, the swap from the AODE to the C4 is simple and straight foward. My issue is now I have a WOT high gear surge. The AODE used a speed sensor along with a big fat harness, none of which is used now except 2 wires to make the neutral safety switch function on the new shifter. Should I be using the speed sensor? Using the OEM U4PO processor with a Tweecer.
Any help??
