The brace is touching the silver air conditioner tube. I know the strut tower brace is mostly for looks, but am I going to damage the air conditioner tube if it is touching? Should I grind the strut tower brace? Or could I just put some felt on the brace?

do you have a pic?

without a pic, here are some options. install something that will prevent the two from rubbing, such as convoluted tubing, pipe insulation, etc.

another option is to use some washers under the STB, effectively raising the STB, giving more clearance.

Can the a/c tube be moved slightly? It is a Ford part after all, you would think that clearance would not be an issue.

you can SLIGHTLY bend the tube for more clearance. be sure you are making a gentle bend, and not kinking the tube.
