***DONT PAY ATTENTION TO THE DIRTY ENGINE COMPARTMENT, LOL***
i finally got around to installing a homemade CAI. i ran this intake and for about a week before painting it then when i had the time i decided to pain it. I built it close to the MAC and BBK style because i didnt want to cut up the engine compartment. i used the stock K&N replacement filter and put it pretty much above the splash shield behind the foglight. i'm going to make a scoop on the lower splash shield to make it easier for the filter to suck up the air. the photos dont do any justice to the color i painted it. its has a lot of metallics in it.

I also got a chance to pick up some bolts for my March Underdrive pulleys that i picked up used. Installing them was pretty easy and straight forward. The one downside to the pulleys is that my battery gauge reads lower then normal when ideling. around the R mark. but a light tap on the gas to rev it up brings it back up. during normal driving conditions it's in the M range. i really wants to rev higher now with them installed. normally it would want to shift at about 2-2,500 to second. now it wants to shift at 3500. a nice mod in my books.
