Installed HR SS Springs took only 3 hours.

I installed my HR SS springs that I got from Maximum Motorsports last night and I am so impressed with the results. Before the install I measures the Gap between the Wheel and the Wheel Well to be 3.5" in the front and 3.25" in the back. Can you say 4X4? Anyway, It took me about 3 hours to do the whole thing by myself. I used the instructions that SPREADMAN wrote up for steeda spring intallations and they were amazaing. Thanks Spreadman for taking your time to write that up since my install went so well using your directions. I think most of the time of the install was spent jacking the car up and triple checking that it was jacked up correctly. The second and forth spings that I install took hardly any time at all since I knew what to expect for installing the other springs first. The end result is my car now sits level and has a gap of 2" on both the front and back. It's at the perfect height now for me, but I'll have to be careful going over speedbumps. I'd attach before and after pics but the pic files are too large to upload. Sorry.

Booooo we want pics!!!! I need to measure my car sometime, Im considering changing springs sometime. Anyone wanna host some pics for us? heh

What is the ground to fender height is? (I am not good measuring the gap space) FWIW, mine is 27 1/8 inches with Pro Kits.

Also, you commited Stangnet Violation 101: Telling us about a mod but without pics. j/k

I'm glad my article served you well. I need to go back and post up the shortcuts I've been using for the past couple of years. ;)

Email me the pictures, and go back and take them at high quality settings, and I'll edit them and host them for you. I'll throw them up when I get home from work tonight.

There ya go. Looks good!

Looks great. :nice:

I think mine sits just a hair lower in the front (who knows, might look like that because of our different rims), and slightly higher in the back. The SS springs definately gave my car a raked stance....I love it. :nice:
