Hi, I am a new 2008 Mustang GT owner and also new to this forum. I am installing the Ford Racing 4.10 gears. I have a Roushcharger and many other add-ons from Roush. I have the Auto with 3.55 gears. Do I need to send the computer back to Roush for them to enter in the new gear info? If so how much will it cost and how long would it take. Has anyone had to this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I believe all autos are 3.31 gears..also a handheld tuner like sct or diablo would allow you to enter the 4.10 gearing instead of havin to send off the computer.

Go with a tuner, it will really wake your car up esp being an auto....

And it can be set for a 4:10 gearing ratio....

You would have to send it in to us for a recal with the correct gear ratio. This is a parameter that has to be entered at the time of the flash. We can actually calibrate it for that tall of a gear, however it will store a code in the pcm as "axle ratio out of range" due to it being out of the Ford parameters for axle ratio. It wil not turn the light on though.

Thanks

Evan
