I got a set of front and rear brakes off a 97' mustang Gt and so far I have installed the front brakes and they work fine, but I have yet to install the rear. Im not sure if I need the master cylinder for the 97' too?? That is the question; Do I need to swap my 89gt master cylinder for the 97' for the rear disc brakes?

You can' use it off the '97. The Gt has hydroboost that year.

You want the MC and booster off an 94-95 GT/V6 Mustang. You can also use the booster off a '93 Cobra if you want.

You'll also need the 3-2 port conversion kit, stock prop valve plug and an adjustable prop valve. you can't use any of the prop valve system from any 94+ Mustang.
