installing a tri-ax

i just picked up a used tri-ax for $50. the guy said that it was on the car for about 50 miles before he took it out, put the stocker in and sold the car. in any case the thing looks brand new. the problem is the thing did not come with any hardware, and i thought i read somewhere that longer bolts are needed to bolt it to the tranny. is this true? also should i put some lock washers or loc-tite on them when i put it in. thanks,
Steve

if i remember correctly its metric fine thread (m8??) by 1.25" long. i dont rememeber the diameter of the bolt but i think it was called m8 but im not sure.

you dont need loctite or anything but put a bead of silicon along the base of the tranny where the shifter mounts. torque or tighten to like 15 ft lbs
