Installing BBK Equals, BBK X, and Amercian Thunder

I am installing BBK Equal Length with a BBK off road X pipe and the 2 1/2 American Thunder Flowmaster System. I was wondering if anyone else has this system out there and if they installed it themselves did they run into any problems? The current system on the car is stock with the cats knocked out. I am removing the smog pump and also wanted to know how to plug the holes in the heads.

If you haven't already bought the parts, get the 1-5/8" long tubes with the short x ..... m2c

Plan to run into problems installing the headers. I don't think a single person on this site that's installed equal length shorties has done it without a lot of cursing and busted knuckles. Probably not worth it for the very slight hp advantage equals offer over unequals.

Thanks for the info

I have already purchased the equipment but i could take it back..... What would be a better setup than that for around the same money and install time.

BBK shorty unequal lengths, BBK X, and 2 chamber flows(If you like the flowmaster sound, 2 chamber is the only way to go). I'm a fan of magnaflow but you're gonna pay more because it's stainless and lifetime guarantee. But definately go get yourself some unequal length shorties....and a set of ratcheting box wrenches to make life easier.
