I purchased a set of BBK unequal length Headers along with stage 8 Locking bolts. What all is required when installing these. I have a 1991 Mustang with 50,000 original miles on it so motor mounts should not be sagging. Does anyone have any tips that might help me. what will I need to take off. Thanks Travis

move or take off the h pipe, that helped me out a lot, then it is fairly straight forward. take off old headers, scrape off any gasket material and clean heads, then install the new, it's usually best to get the two end bolts in first then thread in the middle ones, tightening down the middle first and moving out to the outside bolts. Good luck and enjoy I used to have the bbks and are a good piece. Sound good too!:nice:

Dont use cheap gaskets or youll do this more times than you want to. Also, before you install them, line up your gaskets on the heads, and see if any trimming is required.

This is a pretty standard mod. The only real advice i would give you is to soak down the studs and bolts that hold your factory headers on before you start to take them out so that none will bust on you. Remember to never sieze or copper coat your stage 8 bolts that you are using so that when it comes time to remove them it is easy.
