Installing Boost gauge

I have had a vortec supercharger in my car for a while and finally decided to hook up a boost gauge. I ran the hose to the mass air sensor but the boost guage is not picking up any boost? Is the somewhere else you are supossed to run the hose to?

The line for the boost gauge is a vacuum line basically. Hook it up either to the vacuum tree, or maybe install a t-fitting in one of the main vacuum lines and tap the line into that. This way it can measure vacuum/boost through the vac lines of the engine
