I'm having troubles with the pin on the gas pedal. I've gotten the dead pedal, clutch and brake pedal on pretty easy. I can't seem to get the pin out to replace the gas pedal.

help!

Thanks

remove the entire pedal assembly. I did it without removing the assembly, but it was a b1tch-big-time.
Then I read and learned...do the swap on the work bench.
Also, use the search function here in the forums.
Welcome to stangnet!!!

I got flimsy, crooked, flat black pedals on my car. . . I like the way the bullit pedals look, but I was never a big time interior guy, besides, its where your feet go!

do they . . . feel any different?

I put them on my 03 GT and after boiling the clutch and brake pedals they slip right on. Of course the mach somes with them. They don't really keep your feet from slipping, if my shoes have a little moisture on them they will still slip. Just mainly for looks.

I pulled the whole gas pedal arm out, and attempted to knock the pin out with a hammer. I ended up busting the stock pedal, with the pin still attached to it, so I replaced it with a nut and bolt.

After struggling for an hour to slip the damn brake and clutch pedal on, I ended up doing something similar to my gas pedal. Works fine.

No, they really don't feel any different (unless you drive bare footed!), but the look is very racy. I see them every time I get into the car. It's one of the few racy appearance mods that you, the driver, can appreciate while driving. Seriously, not trying to be a smart-ass my friend, but, I mean, how cool does that chin spoiler and grill delete look while you're driving?
