As the title states I'm finally building a rear for my 87 coupe.
Moser 31 spline with c-clip eliminators.
Moser full spool and going to try a 3.73 from the current 3.55.

My questions are about the c-clips. With the kit what do I do about the axle bearings and grease seals?
Do I remove the bearing and leave the seal? or does the c-clip bracket seal the grease?

No need to take it somewhere. They're easy. When installing 9" type housing ends/bearings, you have to cut off and weld on new flanges. For C-clip eliminators, you'll remove the stock axle bearings and seals and throw them away. You'll see on the end of the axle flange there is a raised portion. That gets cut down to about 1/8" (don't remember the exact dimension- you'll have to look on the directions that come with them). Now the c-clip eliminators will bolt in from the back side through the backing plates and thread into the back of the c-clip eliminator. You'll use a coat of RTV on the backside of the c-clip eliminator to seal them up. Clean the surface of the backing plate good.
